Deandra Johnson - Lead Vocals/Percussion
DeAndra L Johnson, better known as "Dee", started singing at age 8 in a local church. At age 13 she joined a local group called "Los Amigos", who performed all over Phoenix and occasionally out of state. While with Los Amigos she learned to speak Spanish and at age 19 met the backing musicians and family of the late international artist Selena and begin touring with them. Dee joined Outside the line in January 2012, bringing her passion for music paired with the energy in her voice and her phenomenal stage presence.
Donald Montgomery - Lead Vocals
Donald Montgomery is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He's had music in his life since going to school. He's lived in Phoenix AZ for A number of years and works with worship nation at Church For The Nation's in Phoenix on Sundays. During the week he shares his soulful talent with outside the line! He loves to write music and put his own twist on old tunes. Music (vocal) is his passion. As you can see and hear with his soulful passion.

Shaun Erik Johnson - Bass/Vocals
Shaun Erik Johnson Born in Cleveland, OH. He then relocated to Memphis, Tennessee where he spent most of his time as an Elementary school teacher. Shaun started as a singer before learning to play the bass. Shaun had moved to Phoenix, and joined a band called soulful horizons, which later became soul power band where he was the lead singer and bass player. Shaun has been with outside the line Nov 2012. He is a true treasure with a soulful & powerful voice, and a way with words that always warms ones heart. He can play that bass too!
Kent Moody - Keyboards/Vocals
Kent Moody is a top notch keyboardist, vocalist, musical arranger & director from Truman, Arkansas. relocated to Los Angeles and continued to hone his ability and unique style while playing and singing in jazz, classical, blues, country, gospel and rock bands in and around Southern California including 60's Legend Brenton Wood. Since relocating to Arizona, Kent has continued delighting audiences and developing his eclectic style.
Chris Strong - Drums/Percussion
Chris Strong was born November 26th 1978 In Tucson Az. Chris grew up in the church and has been in church all his life!!! Started playing the bongos and found Drums as his passion!! Chris grew up listening to Earl Grey As his mentor an teacher an the Great Lewis Nash as his Uncle!! Starting him listening to Jazz and many more different Styles of Music!! Chris Strong has been active in the Arizona music scene for decades playing in a variety of contexts. Among his many professional credits, he has worked with: Israel Houghton, Deitrick Haddon, Kim Burrell, Donnie McClurkin, George Benson, and Dorinda Clark-Cole, just to name a few.
Jimmy Porter - Guitar/Guitar Synth/Vocals
Jim Porter is a premier guitarist, hailing from Long Island, New York. As a young man, Jim honed his ability and unique style while playing in fusion, classic and progressive rock bands in and around New York City. Since relocating to Arizona, Jim has been active in developing his signature sound blending guitar mixed with synthesizer. He brings this "one-of-a-kind" style to all of his music blending jazz, blues and rock. He plays precision with a smooth and electric vibe!
